Post-Investment Analyst
Brighid is the Post-Investment Analyst at Elevate Ventures and is involved in various areas. She works to provide valuable resources and support to Elevate’s portfolio companies. She also assists with onboarding, fielding board-engagement-related questions, and reporting requirements.
Originally from Chicago, Brighid began her journey in Indianapolis when she attended Butler University, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science with a Risk Management and Insurance Minor. During her time at Butler, data mining and analytics were the vital focus of her studies, and she loves the creative and investigative aspects it brings; combining those with financial applications makes it extremely useful.
Brighid is impressed by the development and transformation of Indianapolis during her years here. She looks forward to serving Elevate’s mission and seeing its impact on Indiana!
- What is the most important thing you do for Elevate Ventures’ clients/constituents? Helping to manage the 100+ board engagements in order to increase Elevate’s operational effectiveness, influence and success in accomplishing its mission.
- What motivates you? Developing systems and tasks to be more efficient and function for optimization. Whether learning to utilize new software or redesigning an established process, I enjoy thinking about how things work dynamically in detail and in a broader view.
- Any “did you know?” random facts about yourself to share? My name is the old Gaelic spelling for Bridget, Brigid, Brigitte et al.
