Ryan Pfenninger

Ryan provides business assistance to Elevate Ventures' and 21 Fund companies with a particular expertise in the information technology and measured-marketing industries. Mr. Pfenninger is an accomplished technologist who has applied his skills to both investing and operational finance. Most recently he was the Director of Operations and Finance for Smule where, among other things, he led the design and development for I Am T-Pain iPhone application (a top 25 all time application). Ryan is a co-founder of MarketRiders, a software-as-a-service product that enables individual investors to effectively manage their own retirement savings. Mr. Pfenninger also served as the Chief Technology officer for Campus Special, LLC during which time he built all of the company's technology infrastructure enabling the company to grow more than 100% annually. Ryan previously worked as Chief Technology Officer for Medical Care & Outcomes, where he developed the company's patient intervention system and helped guide the company through acquisition. From 2002 - 2006, Mr. Pfenninger worked as a financial analyst for two hedge funds, Joe Feshbach Partners in Palo Alto, and Financial Stocks in Cincinnati. He holds a B.S. in Computer Information Systems and a M.S. in Information Systems, both from Indiana University.
